For evening class participants and general silk screen users interest:
I have experimented with tracing paper and had good results... Image shown here was created with one film (black) one tracing paper (green top) and one mystery (grey skirt) positive.
So, indian ink on (90 gsm or less) tracing paper - a cheap alternative to films. I haven't tried photocopied tracing paper yet...
